Customer Services

We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and are emphatic about providing a speedy delivery. We will do everything we can to ensure you receive your order when you would like it.


Generally, delivery for smaller items are £2.50, meduim are £5.50 and the large items are £9.50. 

All prices quoted on the website exclude delivery charges and delivery prices will only be added in the payment process. Please note the delivery charge covers the UK mainland only. Delivery to non-UK mainland destinations may incur additional charges. Goods will be dispatched to you via Royal Mail or Interlink, our chosen courier service. A signature is required on delivery. 

Providing all items on your order are in stock, we aim to dispatch your goods within 1 to 2 working days of receipt of your order, but please allow up to 7 days for delivery. Providing the order is received by 1pm we can arrange for overnight posting, please contact The Dancing Duck on 07786 571809 or email to discuss and confirm details. If you place an order on a Saturday, the product(s) will be sent out on Monday. 

You will receive confirmation from ourselves indicating a delivery time. If there is a further delay, we will send you an email asking you, if you would still like us to send the order to you. We will not charge you until the goods leave our warehouse. It is your duty to ensure that the delivery time is suitable for either yourself or your present recipient. We cannot accept responsibility for addresses provided incorrectly.

The availability of each item, also pricing for posting will be shown when ordering.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER - we can send you a reference number and you can also receive a text message alerting you to a one hour delivery slot. Please let Sophie on know should you wish to use this service. 

Complaints Procedure:

It is your responsibility to check your order carefully immediately on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of goods being unsatisfactory, damaged or incomplete you should accept delivery and contact us as soon as possible. We shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within seven working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

Payment Methods

BY CARD: Payments can be made securely by credit card using our Secure Server (Sage Pay) and Shopping Cart. Credit cards are not charged until the items are despatched from our warehouse.

We accept MasterCard, Visa and Maestro cards.

BY CHEQUE OR CASH: Please telephone or email to confirm your order and we will be delighted to reserve the requested goods until we receive your cheque or cash - Please make your cheque payable to THE DANCING DUCK and post to THE DANCING DUCK, 5 Hazlebury Road, London SW6 2NA. Please note if paying by cheque that we cannot dispatch your order until your cheque has cleared through the bank.

Please do NOT post cash, thank you.


Faulty goods will be exchanged or fully refunded, please return the item to us and we will refund the postage - please contact The Dancing Duck prior to returning goods to agree method of posting.

Non-faulty goods must be returned within 7 days starting from the day it was sent. The cost of the goods will be refunded, so long as the goods are still in the condition that they left our warehouse in. The costs to return the product, will not be refunded unless the reason for return is due to a mistake by ourselves. After seven days you will be deemed to have accepted the goods and no returns will be accepted thereafter. The Dancing Duck sells some antiques and as with all such products one should expect blemishes, restorations & general patina. We have made every effort to ensure that our descriptions and specifications are accurate and anything that might constitute blemish, restoration or a general patina will be flagged up in email or verbal communication. In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your antique you must return the product in the same state as it was received within 7 days, starting from the day it was sent. After seven days you will be deemed to have accepted the goods and no returns will be accepted thereafter.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

Whilst every effort will be made to meet customers demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought,Severe Weather or other causes beyond the control of The Dancing Duck.
